An electrical contact materials specialist, based in Redditch, has enjoyed a successful show at Subcon 2014. Samuel Taylor Ltd, who specialise in small precision metal parts and specialist rolled and bonded composite materials, have exhibited at Subcon for the last few years and found this year’s show to be of value, making a number of interesting new contacts.

With over 80%of it’s current output exported to regions such as the USA, the Middle East and South Asia, the company was keen to take the opportunity to showcase the business at Subcon to increase its market share within Europe and to create relationships with other UK businesses. As market demand continues to improve, STL has recently launched a project to increase its product development and manufacturing capacity, for bi-metal contact tapes and profiled wires, as well as further new machining equipment to support tool making activities. Sales Manager Carl Siviter said:

“Subcon 2014 has always been a good showcase for STL and while the first day was a little quiet, the rest of the show went well, with a number of new requests for press tools and associated projects.”
