Electrical Contact Excellence with Global Reach

A truly global partner for bi-metal bonding and precision stamping within the electrical contact market

  • At STL, we supply to a global customer base spanning four continents – providing our Electrical & Precision Engineering, Precious Metal Contact and Contact Materials expertise to various markets on a world-wide basis.
  • 85% of STL products are directly sent outside of the UK, which sees us supply bi-metal and precision stamped components to over 26 countries worldwide, including the United States, China, Middle East and Europe.
  • Customers trust us as a global partner that can deliver their exacting requirements due to our rich engineering and experienced, efficient logistics team.

Our international tradition has previously been acknowledged by leading UK publication the Sunday Times as part of the International Track 100 league table. The International Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies according to their international sales, with the minimum sales threshold having just been increased from £5m to £25m.

On-going investments in new machinery, support equipment and staff have also helped STL to maintain our competitiveness and ensure a wide-ranging expertise and experience in the development and application of component design for manufacture in the Smart Metering, electrical engineering and Electrical Vehicle markets.

STL can assist customers on a fast and clear route to market without the high cost of an in-house design facility, providing you with practical solutions to real problems, gained from years of hands-on experience of manufacturing in real world situations.

In addition to forming new partnerships worldwide, we are also committed to networking and collaboration domestically and are a member of several industry networks including Made in the Midlands (MIM), Make UK and the Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce as well as our membership and close relationship with TWI.
