STL has a proven track record producing dual thickness, multi materials and contacted busbars all made in house for a variety of applications, including: remote disconnect smart meters and battery pack technology.
We utilise decades of know-how of metal bonding, precious metal contacts, electrical, production and precision engineering expertise to provide real world solutions for a variety of applications.
Our success is rooted within the development of innovative new production processes for busbar technology that encompass:
- The manufacture of precision stamped components and welded or rivetted contact assemblies
- The sophisticated bonding of bi-metals such as AlCu (Aluminium to Copper) and SilCu (Silver to Copper)
- The use of novel techniques for “spot welding” Copper parts to Aluminium parts
- Experience and knowledge in the design & manufacture of metallic shunt resistors for measuring and sensing applications
